Senior Empower Day 2010

            Registration is under way for Senior EmPower Day 2010. The event will be held Friday, September 24, at Timber Wolf Lake, 4909 N. Morey Road (M-66). This is a new venue for the event, now in its sixth year. The theme is “The Power of Fun,” and older adults and/or their caregivers are invited.

            The doors will open at 8:30 am, and the program will end at 3:00 pm. A nonrefundable $5 registration fee for attendees age 60 or older, and $10 for those ages 59 and younger, is requested. Attendance is limited to the first 500 registrants, and the registration deadline is Friday, September 10.
