Membership is offered at $8 per year, but you need not be a member to participate in the meals or activities.
When Manton schools close because of weather conditions, so does the Senior Center.
Lucky Bucks are out and Yen is in. Yen will work pretty much the same as Lucky Bucks, but we will have a Chinese Auction, Silent Auction, and Live Auction. So when you see Yen for something on the calendar, be sure to get involved.

May 11: Senior Expo at the WEX. Free trolley rides from the Senior Center, two lunch periods, booths and demonstrations. Call for information: 824-6961
May 15: craft class--make your own 2007 calendar.
May 25:
Manton Mini-Indy 500 time trials. Bring in your matchbox-style car.
May 26, 12:45--the actual race.
June Fund Raiser: 4th Annual Golf Outing. Call for details: 824-6961
July 15: Senior Prom (potluck). Sign-up sheet ready in June.
NUTRITION PROGRAMS
Meals are cooked on site and served at noon Monday through Friday. Suggested donation of $2 for seniors 60 and over; $4 for those under 60. Reservations not required unless there is a group of more than four.
Meals-On-Wheels (Frozen Dinners)
Food pantry for seniors 55 and older. You must qualify under the financial guidelines for poverty and live within 12 miles of the senior center. Members of the senior center may live outside the 12 mile boundary.
HEALTH SERVICES
Strength training with a certified personal trainer is offered every Tuesday and Friday at 10:45. Open to men and women.
Blood pressure is taken on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 11:45.
The Thick 'N Thin Club meets Thursday at 10:00 and is open to anyone.
The Council on Aging-sponsored Foot Care Clinic is held the 2nd Monday of the month. Call 824-6961 for an appointment. Bring a large towel, a bowl to soak your feet in, and your medications for review. $10 fee.
