Kathy Bremmeyr, Social Worker, will be working at the Petoskey Center Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00 - 2:00, to help individuals establish Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care/Patient Advocates. Foot Care Clinics:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Cost $20; non-county residents $23. If this is a financial hardship, speak with the
nurse when you make an appointment. Foot care includes assessment, soaking,
callus buffing when necessary, nail trimming, and filing -- all by a Registered
Nurse. Hours: 8:30 - 11:30, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday by appointment. Call 347-3211.
Monthly foot care clinic (last Wednesday each
month) at the Harbor Springs Senior Center from 11:00 -

Eyeglass Clinic
Dr. David Dziak from Professional Optical will be here the
last Thursday of the month to conduct an eyeglass clinic. Bring in your
ill-fitting, dirty glasses and have them brought back to their former glory.

Lab Clinic -- now
offered quarterly from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
Prostate cancer screening
test (PSA) $37 - no fasting. Cholesterol/HDL/LDL/triglycerides -
14 hour
fast, $30.
Diabetes test - 12 hour fast, $12.
Results will be mailed to the client. Check to see if your
insurance will cover these tests. They are offered on a pay basis the day you

Risk of Falling
Assessment Clinics
Currently being done at Northern Michigan Hospital. Purpose: to assess
the risk of a fall and then to suggest preventative measures. Physical
therapists do the assessment in partnership with the Northern Michigan Hospital
Rehabilitation Department. Call 347-3211 for an appointment.
Save grocery receipts from Oleson's and bring them to any of our centers to help support our senior programs.
Volunteers needed
Volunteers needed to help daily in the dining room making
coffee, helping to carry trays, and cleaning and setting tables from 11:00 to
