EMERGENCY WARMING SHELTERS

With forecasts of continuing low temperatures and high winds, the Emergency Management Office, in partnership with the American Red Cross, announces the establishment of temporary warming facilities in Grand Traverse County .

If you become aware of any person who has lost heat, are homeless, or have suffered the loss of any other necessity, please call the 24 Hour Emergency Management telephone number at 231-590-2373 and temporary arrangements will be made to insure safety.

American Red Cross may also be contacted for needs at 231-947-7286.

This notice has been distributed to the Emergency Services providers, but feel free to distribute the notice to any other operations that you feel may benefit.
