Creating
Confident Caregivers is an exciting new
program in select regions in Michigan, for family caregivers of persons with
dementia and/or memory loss. Based
on the university tested Savvy
Caregiver Training Program, Creating Confident Caregivers is a six-session program that provides caregivers
with information, skills and attitudes to manage stress and increase their
effectiveness.
This
program is supported, in part, by the U. S. Administration on Aging through its
Alzheimer's Disease Supportive Services Program, (#90AE0322), the Michigan Office
of Services to the Aging, the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan, and
the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter, Northern Region.
